Customer story

From years of production data to daily decisions.

Presso is using Ronja to make data in Monitor G5 more accessible across the business, helping production, finance and sales turn existing information into faster, more informed decisions.

The starting point

The data was already there.

Years of production and business data were sitting in Monitor G5. But answering a new question often meant exporting files, finding information in different parts of the system, and continuing the investigation manually in Excel.

The first step with Ronja was to make that data accessible and explorable across production, materials, purchasing, inventory, customer orders, and finance. Questions that previously required hours of exports and reconciliation can now be investigated in minutes.

That changes more than preparation time. Presso's teams can spend less time assembling the picture and more time understanding why something is happening, what it affects, and what to do next.

Running on the foundation

One foundation. Three operating workflows.

Once Monitor data became accessible, Presso could turn recurring investigation into continuously available views and workflows built around how the company operates.

Production control

Start every morning with the exceptions that matter.

Each morning, Presso can start with a prioritized view of production delays, material shortages, upcoming deliveries and customer orders that may require attention.

If raw material is delayed, the team can immediately see which manufacturing and customer orders are at risk. Instead of spending the morning assembling information from different sources, people can focus on the exceptions that require action.

The result is a deeper and more consistent level of production control, delivered automatically at the beginning of every working day.

Finance

A CFO cockpit built around Presso's numbers.

Presso's CFO now has a dedicated cockpit built around the financial questions and measures that matter to the company. Important figures from Monitor and other relevant sources are brought together in one continuously updated operating view.

The cockpit makes the company's financial state immediately visible. The CFO can see what requires attention, move from a headline number to the underlying information, and investigate differences without first chasing data across separate systems.

What previously required finding, checking and reconciling information from different places is now available in one place, giving the CFO more time to analyse the business and act on what the numbers show.

Sales and quoting

From incoming RFQ to approval in under five minutes.

When a customer sends an RFQ, Presso forwards the email to Ronja. An agent extracts the necessary information from Excel, PDF, or CAD files, applies Presso's engineering and pricing rules, and prepares a complete, approval-ready quote.

If information is missing or ambiguous, Ronja stops and requests clarification through email or Microsoft Teams. Once a person supplies the missing information or judgment, the workflow continues. Presso's salesperson retains final approval.

A process that previously took hours–and sometimes days–can now produce an approval-ready quote in under five minutes.

The working model

“For us, AI becomes valuable when it improves the decisions we make every day - in production, finance and customer work. The starting point is the data and processes we already have.”

The collaboration is not based on introducing another generic software package or asking Presso to adapt its operation to a predefined product. Each solution is built around Presso's systems, data, processes, and priorities.

Ronja works weekly with leaders across the organisation to identify valuable opportunities, deliver new workflows, and find the next piece of recurring work that can be improved.

Many initiatives move from an identified operational need to a working solution in days or weeks–without a months-long implementation project. That keeps the collaboration focused on practical adoption and measurable ROI rather than software that sits unused.
