Ronja Technologies AB

Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Introduction

1.1. This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar tracking technologies used on ronja.tech (the "Website"), the purposes for which they are used, and how you can control them.

1.2. This document supplements the Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail how Ronja Technologies AB processes personal data.

1.3. For simplicity, cookies, pixels, local storage entries, and similar technologies are referred to collectively as "Trackers" in this document. The term "Cookies" is used only where a specific browser-based Tracker is meant.

2. How Trackers Work

2.1. Trackers allow us and the third-party providers we use to read from or write to your device as you interact with the Website. The Website uses them to remember your privacy preferences, measure Website use, and measure advertising performance. Google Analytics Measurement and LinkedIn Marketing Trackers are active when you first visit the Website. You can disable either category independently in the privacy preferences panel.

2.2. The Website uses:

  • First-party Trackers: set by Ronja directly.
  • Third-party Trackers: set by providers that enable specific services such as analytics or advertising. These providers may access the Trackers they manage.

2.3. Trackers have different lifetimes. Some expire when you close your browser session; others remain on your device for a defined period, as specified by Ronja or the relevant provider. The most precise and up-to-date lifetimes are published in each provider's own privacy and cookie policy.

3. Legal Basis

3.1. Strictly necessary Trackers are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functioning Website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3.2. Ronja relies on legitimate interests to understand Website use and measure business-to-business advertising, subject to your right to disable Measurement or Marketing at any time. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular Tracker or processing activity, Ronja relies on consent for that activity. Withdrawal or opt-out applies with effect for the future and does not affect processing carried out before that point.

4. Categories of Trackers Used

The Website currently uses necessary, measurement, and marketing Trackers. A full list of providers is set out in Annex 1.

4.1 Necessary

Trackers that are strictly necessary to remember and apply your privacy preferences.

  • iubenda Privacy Controls and Cookie Solution (iubenda s.r.l.)

4.3 Measurement

Trackers used to measure traffic and analyze User behavior in order to improve the Service.

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC)

4.4 Marketing

Trackers used to deliver personalized advertising or marketing content and to measure its performance.

  • LinkedIn Ads (LinkedIn Corporation)
  • LinkedIn conversion tracking (Insight Tag) (LinkedIn Corporation)

5. Managing Your Preferences on This Website

5.1. Google Analytics Measurement and LinkedIn Marketing are active on a first visit. You can disable or re-enable each category independently at any time through the privacy preferences panel available on the Website.

5.2. A saved opt-out is applied on later visits before the corresponding service starts. Disabling a category stops future events sent by Ronja's Website code and removes accessible first-party cookies for that category. It cannot undo data already transmitted or remove cookies that a provider stores on its own domain.

5.3. For any third-party Tracker, you can also use the controls or opt-out instructions made available by that provider.

6. Controlling or Deleting Cookies in Your Browser

6.1. Your browser allows you to:

  • Review which Cookies and similar technologies have been set on your device
  • Block Cookies or similar technologies
  • Clear Cookies or similar technologies already stored

6.2. Browser settings do not, however, allow granular control by category. Please note that disabling all Cookies may prevent parts of the Website from functioning correctly.

6.3. Guidance for the most common browsers:

6.4. On mobile devices, you can also use the operating system's tracking and advertising settings to limit ad identifiers.

7. Opting Out of Interest-Based Advertising

7.1. In addition to the controls above, you may use industry opt-out tools that cover many advertising providers at once:

7.2. The Digital Advertising Alliance also offers the AppChoices mobile app for controlling interest-based advertising across mobile apps.

8. Consequences of Denying Trackers

You are free to disable non-essential Trackers. The core Website and contact form remain available. Disabling Measurement stops future Website journey and usage events from Ronja's Website code. Disabling Marketing stops future code-owned LinkedIn conversion events. These changes apply with effect for the future.

9. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Trackers used or in applicable law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Where changes are material, we will prompt you to review your consent through the privacy preferences panel.
